Does caffeine have a *flavor* ?

This guy just walks into the coffee bar (sry for another coffee bar at work thread) pours himself a cup of decaf (which I also dont understand), takes one sip and says "AUGH! This isn't decaf!" and pours the cup out and storms off.

I dun ever drink decaffeinated versions of anything that is usually caffeinated, and anything I drink that is decaffeinated has a vastly different flavor already (root beer, milk, sprite, etc...)

I have had both kinds of coffee and i can slightly taste the difference but i never thought of caffeine having a flavor o.o

if u want something to wake u up, then no caffeine isnt gonna help..

if u want a healthier drink then have juice!

Kopi Luwak (pronounced [ˈkopi ˈluwak]) or Civet coffee is coffee made from coffee berries which have been eaten by and passed through the digestive tract of the Asian Palm Civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus). The civets eat the berries, but the beans inside pass through their system undigested. This process takes place on the islands of Sumatra, Java and Sulawesi in the Indonesian Archipelago, in the Philippines (where the product is called Kape Alamid) and in East Timor (locally called kafé-laku). Vietnam has a similar type of coffee, called weasel coffee, which is made from coffee berries which have been defecated by local weasels. In actuality the "weasel" is just the local version of the Asian Palm Civet.

Non-dairy creamer are so that those that are lactose-intolerant can still enjoy life's simple pleasures of cream in their coffee.
