Not so much Some of what was listed (Marilyn Manson? Ugh! He was like so 10 years ago!)
I myself do like:
Beck
Some Blink-182
Bloc Party: British Post-Punk Revival Band.
The Contantines: Indie Canadian Rock Band whose stuff is found on both SubPop and Arts & Crafts.
Foo Fighters: More a fan of them than, say Nirvana.
K-OS: I know you said no rap, but his music is more rock and instrument based and he more sings than raps.
My Morning Jacket: Indie Southern Alt Band, Their latest, Evil Urges came out today.
No Doubt :The good stuff before Gwen's solo pop career.
Our Lady Peace :Canadian Alt-Rock Band. "One Man Army" is a great song.
Radiohead
Santogold: She's not technically rap either (even though I've seen her classified as) , but it's good stuff.
Silverchair: the stuff during and post Neon Ballroom.
Sleater-Kinney: Got into them after getting over a funk in my life.
Smashing Pumpkins: Big SP fan, but not really of their current line-up or stuff.
Tegan & Sara: Canadian identical twin Alt-Pop duo. (I know I'm big on the Canadians and I'm from the midwest. lol.)
TV on the Radio Edgy urban-alt stuff from New York.
