Okay I'm trying to get music for my cellphone/Walkman.

I don't know any new music. Can you guys show me some new music, here are my favorite bands.

I think that's it. Yeah I like a lot of alternative rock songs. I don't like rap, since I hate Flobots other songs.

HIM or H.I.M - mostly slow songs and very good lyrics to suit it.

as alt rock most people take EMO. which is emotional hardcore aka subgenre of hardcore. Aka it's the musicgenre with screams, not cuddly words only.
