Where shall we wander?

I'll always first remember it as "the book-in-which-liar/embellisher/author's-mother-cries-on-Oprah."
Edit: Or was that something else?

I don't know if his mother cried about it, but I know she had him and his publisher back on and she crushed them.
Edit: Er, by she, I meant Oprah.

^ This book was...interesting.
I had to read it for my GCSEs but I couldnt honestly say I enjoyed it. Although that may have been due to the context in which I was forced to read it.
A book I am currently reading and enjoying is:

No worries. No one likes Catcher in the Rye. Everyone claims it's one of the best pieces of American literature but it never lives up to that expectation. It's a fairly interesting read, yes, but Holden does come across as a self-obsessed twat and really doesn't seem to take anything away from his experiences.

Shouldn't you read The Mortal Instruments first?
