[Wall of text]Clerics: What would you do?

So I've been an MD KQ addict lately and had a fair bit of both epic failness and epic awesomeness.

Just then, I did a KQ. It wouldn't have been so much of an epic fail if it wasn't for another cleric. Long story short, that cleric wasn't the smartest of them all and had brought us more troubles rather than more heals. I'll skip the details since this isn't All the Rage.

Anyway. We got to the dragon. There were only two clerics - me included. We did have two tankers. An archer and a fighter - both great tanks. Everyone else was great, actually, when I think about it. There were only half of us left. However, both the cleric and I had no hearts left, therefore if we both die, we're doomed.

So the archer was tanking away, while everyone was hitting the dragon. For some unknown reason, the cleric stood right beneath the dragon. The dragon jumped, and, well, I suspect you all can imagine what happened to the cleric. So the cleric was buried underneath the ground with two other people on the exact same spot. I was healing the archer non stop at that time.

Here's the problem.

My invince still had a long cool down because I had recently used it. I cannot invince the tank and res the cleric. So I had decided to wait till the dragon jumps, heal the tanker + restore, then try and res the cleric before the dragon jumps again.

But I could not bloody click the cleric!

Mainly because he was beneath the ground (couldn't see his char) and two other people were right there so I kept clicking on them instead. Not to mention the cleric was also screeching "REVVVVVVV REVVVVVVV" which added more frustration to me.

THE QUESTION:

I was debating whether to:
  • Keep trying to res the cleric and hope that our archer tank would keep potting; or
  • Heal the tanker and leave the cleric to go back to Roumen.
I was pressed for time to make this decision when the cleric's spawn time was gettin closer and closer. [list]

THE SITUATION
  • If I ressed the cleric, our tanker might die and that might cause chaos (this is usually the cause of failures in many of the KQs I've been. Tank dies, everyone panics, fail.)
  • If I didn't res the cleric, however, I would be the only cleric, and if I died, we would surely lose because no one would be able to res me (in that situation though, if I didn't die for the rest of it, I believe we could have won).

In the end, I decided to keep trying to click and res the cleric in hope that the archer tank would keep potting. The archer tank did keep potting - he was an awesome tank that I didn't need to worry about (played several KQs with him, so I knew what he's like), which was why I pretty much decided to res the cleric.

So I frantically clicked the ground over and over again. CLICK! YES! I GOT THE CLERIC!

I looked around to find where the dragon is. Um... the dragon disappeared? O_O....

..THEN BAM!

The dragon landed right next to me, and I died.

Both clerics dead, KQ failed.

I felt partly responsible for this, since I wasn't watching the dragon closely enough. And I also wondered whether I should have ressed the cleric or healed the tanker.

Of course, I would have now preferred to heal the tanker and let the cleric go after what has happened, but, can't really do that now.

But yeah. Clerics. What would you have done?

I guess there isn't any "correct" answer, since every situation is slightly different. Like, if the other cleric was a good cleric, then ressing surely wouldn't be a loss. But yeah. Dx Watcha think?
