When should I get +9?
 

Im lvl 40+ and have no +9 wep


so what lvl should I have one?

Right away, if you have the budget. If not, then level 50 would be a good start. Since, you'll have your mist at 51 then you go pwn.

Yeah, if you can afford the luxury, asap. If it's a squeeze, you only *need* one if you plan to be PvPing in my opinion. It is nice in PvE because it makes things go a lot faster, but I don't think it's essential. However if you want to be serious about PvP is is essential, imo.

Edit: Also I think it depends what class you are, for example for a full support cleric a +9 wep isn't really necessary.

And imo it is essential for PvE as well, comparing to a +0. Soloing or partying, whatever you kill it makes it faster :laugh:

Had my first +9 bow at 50. 2nd at 60. Then switched to xbow at 70, +8 but it still works good. For 8x... Hmm... Might switch back to bow... <---going off topic 8D

I have a level 20 +9 xbow for sale.. i got my first one when i was level 20...

I'll give it to you cheap if you play on Epith server..

Curious, do you think it's more essential to enhance if you use a bow rather than an xbow, because of the dmg difference?

Enhance as soon as possible. Since you dont have Mist yet you need to get as much damage from something else. Youll love it when you do the werebear repeat quest.

I would suggest getting an Xbow at 50+ because when you aoe/kite you will need the extra damage and crits.

It kind of depends on how fast you level, IMO.

If you're a really fast leveler and you're going to get past 5x in a week or two weeks, then there's no point in buying a +9 weapon that will only last you that long.

However, if you're a slow leveler and it'll take you 3 months to get through level 4x, then maybe buying a +9 might be good for you.
