Spider KQ tanks
 

You would think that by level 60, fighters would know how to tank, oh contrare. I was in a spider kq with two other fighters, I was the highest level, highest HP, highest defense, the obvious tank. So a level 60 fighter decides he wants to tank, okay sure, as long as you can handle it.

So I step back a bit and DD for a while, when I notice the mobs are being split up, thus making the mages have to nova twice instead of just once. So I whisper said fighter and tell him to be careful to keep the mobs together so the mages can aoe. I was really nice about it, but he ignores me. He constantly seperated mobs and made the mages work really hard. Then the robbers came and he decided he wants to tank those too. He gets all four and is stoning as fast as he can and yelling at his cleric about how she isn't healing fast enough. I'm sorry but if a mob hits you for 700 or so, and there are 4 of them, and you only have 3500 hp anyway, what can one cleric do?

So he dies and I get the robbers and we go about our kq. The whole time he is trying to mock the robbers off me and failing because I can keep aggro. Then the ultras, he mocks then moves them away from everyone because we won't notice him trying to steal 4 ultras, wtf. I move them away from the nova when i don't have a mage too, but i only move one, moving all of them is just stupid.

We want to kill king spider, and we do it, and he keeps mocking, and dying, and yelling at his cleric. What the hell.

It's people like that that get on my nerves in games.

=/ One reason I'm glad I'm almost 71. I hate it when tanks split up the group and demand aoes. And plus, theres an increase in people attempting to run off with the good exp mobs.

A couple weeks back, I was unfortunately in a party like that. I was running around, aoeing, doing my thing, when I noticed my party wasn't near me. My tank started saying "Come! Hurry! We need aoe!". They were in another room with 2 ultras -.-;; I told them I was helping the group get this group dead.

xD stealing ultras is just stupid and disrespectful, "strategic relocation" is what i do

I dont even care. I'm a mage, all I gotta do is aoe and I'm getting a little bit of everything.

I forsaw the horrors comming to spider!

Primary reason I rushed to get out of it!

Now I'm in the King Kong Phino - which is good, until people begin leeching.


My advice, get out of spider ASAP!

But I like Spider KQ... I get to sit around and do nothing the last 4 minutes of the KQ while the tank runs in circles with the giant spider.

The tanks are pretty good too. They'll try to keep the mobs all in one place.

noob fighter, I would flame him so bad and kill him in PvP, after that, get someone to hack his account and delete all his character

"tank" that was using lvl 54 boots, 48 pants, 50 armour, 50 sword and shield wanted to tank. She kept pulling aggro and dying, then yelling at people for not keeping her alive.

NO SHYT.

Get better armour, and you might stay alive.

You're lvl 6x ffs.

Can't heal faster than you're supposed to. :3 If a Cleric isn't healing 'fast enough'... you should be:

A) not tanking
B) use pots/stones for goodness sake!
C) not tanking

With my fighter, I am and END tank and even with my build and a cleric, I am always ready and willing to use HP pots/stones if needed. I also know not to freak out if my HP does not stay 100% the entire time.
On my cleric I have had fighters (note: I did not call them tanks) yell at me to heal them after every hit. Ummmm.... you dont need it that often, thank you very much. Of course my cleric as not seen anything higher than Gold Hill KQs since I quit worknig her after level 30.

XD the 1st time I did Spider KQ, apparently it was a TOTAL mess! (of coz, being my 1st time.. i thought it was normal)...

but we had to start running even before the robbers were spawned... and there was about 4 ppl running with a MASSIVE train...

Maybe it was a tanker not tanking problem.. but i still dun hv a clue wat went wrong LOL

but archers are good in a way that they would pull the aggro off us clerics so we can heal / revive...

but there was this archer in my party that keeps yelling at me to heal him... he wasnt even in my range so i had to go look for him.. and i found him trying to kill an ultra by himself... as he called for help in party chat... the whole party gathered to kill that ultra.. and we each got about 15k exp :eek:

but if there are 4 ultras, and each ultra gives me 5k exp... i get 20k exp anyway... why does a party have to pull a single ultra away and try hog all the exp... when you're wasting your time and the group's resourse to kill them all as a whole...?
