There are several choices for the classes.

We will start with Clerics, The:

Hammer: Has a higher dmg, But lower attack rate.

Mace, less damage, But a faster attack rate.

Next, The archers:

Bow: Faster rate, And sometimes damage

Crossbow: Slower rate, Better damage and faster using skills (?)

Up next, The mages

Staff: Basically weaker in every way compared to the wand, In both Mdmg and Dmg. But they usually have better stats when green or blue.

Wand: Better Mdmg and Dmg than the Staff, And are more favored for the looks.

Finally, the Fighters:

One-Handed Sword: Goes with a shield, It is criticized for it's weaker attacks, but it has the fastest attack rate.

Axe: Best Dmg of all the weapons, And also the slowest.

2-Handed sword: A "happy" medium, With a better attack rate then the axe, But less damage then the axe aswell. It is usually chosen for it's looks rather then any style in particular.
