25 years ago, two children and one mysterious woman were banished from Roumen village for involvement in a conspiracy with a Karasian Templer. Today the children who were banished have come back to Roumen village for vengeance. Mara the Pirate and Marlon the bandit have come to seek revenge for the exile and for the solitary death of their mother.
|-
|Frequency:
|Every 2 Hours
|}

Note on the boss monsters: the following two must be defeated -
*Legendary Marlone (icon usually facing left, has horns).
*Charismatic Mara (icon facing right with blue logo on the hat).

Legendary Marlone and Charismatic Mara with different icons on the boat are fakes and need not be killed in order to win.

Strategy
Run all the way to the area before the first two fake boss monsters are - there is a safety plank right before there. You can run past ALL the monsters. There is no need to kill any of them. But the leader of the pack should be a fighter with high hp. Do not bother with any other char leading except a high hp cleric... the fighters jobs is extremely important. It is to get the attention of all the monsters so the majority of the monsters won't attack the rest of the group, so use mock if you can with a group of enemies... of course don't just stand there trying to attract every monster, the thing about this map is that after running just a bit, most monsters will give up and do nothing unlike the regular map.

Kill the first fake boss monsters one at a time. Don't try to take them all at once, they both have a type of AoE, so be careful. You need a fighter with 900+ hp to tank and at least 2 or 3 types of clerics to heal (1 if its level 23+)

After defeating the two fake bosses, run to the boat and clear one side of monsters (its better to clear the right side of the boat).

Then get a archer or mage to go to the next side of the boat and bring out ONE of the real bosses and bring it to the free side of the boat, this is where the fighter taunts it then tanks it, everyone else stay FAR away if you can. Of course archers/mages, do not let it hit you, the male one has the ability to immobilize you so you better run away RIGHT after you attacked and fighters are the only ones that should be near it, and i mean FAR FAR away. At the max distance you can stay with being able to cast a spell.

After defeating the first real boss, get the second real boss with the same method. Then your done! Congratulations, you won 1.9k exp and a quest box.

Want to know how to tell the real boss from the fake? Well...

If you click on them, their picture is different. The real Mara has a Blue Sign on her Hat and looks to the right side. Marlone looks to the left and has horns on his head.

-or-

OK there are two ways to do this quest:

1) Fight all the enemies all the way to the fake Marlone and fake Mara. (Keep in mind this will take alot of your time and you WILL need to kill the real Marlone and Mara at the end)

2) RUSH: This is when you get your parties together and run! all the way till you get to and empty platform next to the fake Marlone and Mara. (Important: if you rush. WAIT for everyone to catch up, use this time to heal in your mushroom and get scrolls on, ect.)

Figure out who is tanking, who is healing. Mages, archers and clerics need to stay in the back on the platform.

The best way i found to do this, is first take out a few of the enemies around the two fakes, to open it up a bit. Then the tanker needs to lure which ever fake first (I usually go for Marlone first).

Take out Fake Marlone then Fake Mara.

You can rush again to the ship, or kill enemies your choice.

When you get to the ship there will be a bunch of enemies at the stairs and just below them. STAY TO THE RIGHT ON THE SHIP. Don't bother killing the left enemies they don't get in your way.

Once you clear out the right side, heal up

You'll see another set of stairs and just over those are 4 Marlones, 4 Maras and other enemies (IGNORE THE OTHER UNLESS THEYA RE IN THE WAY!) and get an archer (preferably) to lure the REAL ONES.

The real ones are:

Legendary Marlone (When you click the Marlones you will see pictures of them, the one looking to the LEFT is the REAL one)
Charismatic Mara (When you click the Maras you will see pictures of them, the one with the BLUE LOGO on her hat is the REAL one)

Or if can't remember, use the fact that there is only one real one. Just look at the different pictures, the one that has the odd picture is the real boss.

Take out Marlone and Mara. (Remember Archers, Mages and Clerics in back) And your done!

Sometimes it is necessary to attract a fake Marlone or Mara because it is impossible to pull out the original otherwise. If you have enough time, you can kill it, but other wise, it is advisable that the person who pulls the fake runs to the left of the boat (which isn't cleared out) and suicides. Then, a cleric can revive this person from a distance, and the KQ can go on as planned.

Rewards
(Note: All rewards except for experience are random and are recieved by opening a present that you get when you successfully complete the Kindom Quest.)
* 1,986 EXP
* Level 20 Enhanced Weapon/Armor
* Sign of Mara Earrings (Various)
* Lucky Elrue (T1)
* Blessed Lix (T1)
* Hp Potion (T1) (Most common, in bunches of 3)

Need to know some things about archer leveling?

Soloing
Generally, you probably might end up following your quests around, as they're basically a direction of where to go. It's a very good idea for soloing.

For the first 20 levels, it probably will be easiest to solo your way through. As an archer, you will be doing a pretty good amount of damage and can survive any attacks against you.

Since the update raising the level cap to 89 and adding BR, the maps used to grind ( such as path of abysmal summit and grave of abyss, etc. ) are now accessable by talking to the Battlefield guard behind Item Merchant Nina.
50-59 Passage of Abyss (portal in LS 1, the left one on the map)or in Elderine. Look for the gatekeeper behind Item Merchant Raina.

Armour//Weapons
It's best to keep your armor all up to date. Check the Armors page for armor specifics.
Since an archer is a DD, it is also extremely important to keep your Weapons up to date as well

Quests
It may seem dull, but completing all the quests that you get from NPC are a good way to level - you get experience from killing the beasts, and then an experience boost + more afterwards. It also gives you a direction to go in, rather than just wandering around. It's useful to accept all quests on one map and then go killing and return when finished, you will save time compared to doing them one by one. Also, Kingdom Quests are a great way to have some fun and gain experience.
