Item icons should take the following format, using '''lowercase''' extensions:

For these small icons, GIF with Adaptive-256 setting will work well giving in most cases lossless images. JPEG at 95% will produce an image indistinguishable from 100% quality by the eye with a smaller file size. You should not have to sacrifice quality for filesize.
