Questions about critical hits

Question 1: Can your skills get critical hits?

Question 2: What might be the best class/type/weapon to achieve critical hits?

Question 3: Should I even bother being crit based?

I haven't even played this game yet. But my general plan is to become crit-based something or other.

Question 1: Yes, you can get critical hits on your skills. I'm still a newbie, but I do know that Mages can get critical hits on their skills.
Question 2: The best class is probably Mage.
Question 3: Depends really. Maybe you should check out some of the threads at the class specific discussions.

Interesting...

My friend is in the game already, I'm still downloading, but he mentioned something about weapons themselves having a crit rate. Is there any type of weapon that has a higher crit rate than the others?

I'm sure there are. I've noticed that my own staff has a critical rate of 2%.
I wonder if it can be boosted through refining weapons.

Crit dmg mods only come on green weapons if im thinkin correctly: but let me answer your questions

1: Yes skills can deal crit dmg

2: The best class for a crit dmg build are most likely mages since they have high SPR *attribute that increases crit chance* and a High Dmg which = high Crits lol

Archers are also decent in criting Although the mage's will be much more consistent

my mage has 16 points in spr, which boosts criticals

considering i can hit 550 damage if i get a critical its pretty cool

my archer doesnt hav any spr cuz it would only help crits but when i do a crit i can do about 300 damage

any crit is gonna do double the damage of watever the attack u did was, so if u want to risk doing full criticals do it on mage by putting full spr, since that increases m defense
