Weekly maintenance & Statement from Fancypants Head of Waypoint Team






Dear Community,



Thank you for all the feedback since our first official patch. We have taken into account all your feedback and will remain on track to make this game better. We would like to inform you of the current situation on several subjects and information on Maintenance tomorrow.



Tomorrow there will be no Dreampatch #2, but its well on the way and as soon as it is ready you will know. There’s a lot we have planned for you and #2 will be even bigger than #1. Aside from the patch we strive to deliver the best possible experience for the game and that is why tomorrow we are updating our game servers and server structure. Since the EU Data center is the largest one, this one happens first, US will follow! Tomorrow 08h00 (CET) we will begin maintenance for EU, while for US side it will only be a server restart at 11PM (PDT). As soon we have completed the maintenance at the data center – we will be opening the servers back up after extending all your items.





Archer Rebalance

Dreampatch #2 will contain the major updates regarding the rebalance. We’ve looked at every aspect of archers and their active / passive skills as well as output on damage they can do in regular and critical state. All of this will go through an adjustment and we’re happy to have your feedback once the patch is live. Rangers will be getting new passive skills and have a few old ones removed. Sharpshooter will also have an adjustment to the new skill allowing empowerment of the skill.



Quest Adjustments

Since the last maintenance many of the repeatable quests have been adjusted but don’t work accurately again because of a mistake on our part. We apologize for this – but it will be fixed in the next update. Additional to this we are looking at non-repeat quests which will also go through adjustments. Not only this, but we’re also working on several new quests for many of the difficult level ranges and KQs.



Individual / Guild Designer Requests

Our artists are proactive on this task and there’s almost 100 designs ready for review from you. Because of the large amount of emails sent to Waypoint since we revealed what the team is all about – communication has been very difficult. Since the last patch Waypoint has received almost 1300 Emails from players with ideas and suggestions. While the team is trying to reply to them all – it’s becoming an impossible task. That is why we have been working on a new system called the "Viewer System” which is close to being pushed live. We expect it to go live with the Dreampatch #2.



We realize that a commitment made in regards to 2 month development for these costumes is a word we would like to keep. But even today there are still replies coming back to the ORIGINAL sendout. While we are blocking spots for each designer request - the artist works on just that request and nothing else. With the process we ensure each design is of high quality and also to the liking of the individual. NO COSTUME WILL GO LIVE WITHOUT APPROVAL OF THE INDIVIDUAL OR GUILD. We hope you can understand the delay on our side but we uphold the promise to deliver the best possible quality to you for what you have ordered.



Enhancement System

We have been getting feedback from some individuals that enhancement has not gotten easier. Looking at the overall statistic of this however – we see that this is not true. It has become a lot easier and the amount of stones needed to enhance a weapon to its fullest has gone down even lower than we had initially calculated. Because we also believe that there are more ways to perfect the system – we’re happy if you keep sending us feedback in regards to this.



Upcoming Changes

We at Waypoint believe that anything is possible and certain things are just very difficult. Which is why our concept team is looking at previously rejected systems from players in an attempt to see if the development of such systems makes sense. If you have ideas and would like to submit them – the CM Team and additional individuals form Team Elbama. Either send it to them or to elbama@fiestawaypoint.com. We appreciate your ideas!



We will keep updating you on happenings and thank you for the time you spent reading about it. Spread the word – because Fiesta is still very much alive and we would like to see it grow further through the mutual work of WP and the community.
