Bug Fixes
[U]<li>The misplaced barrier during the Chimera bosses AOE attack should now be correctly placed.

The FONA Weekly~
On the last episode of The FONA Weekly!
The GM's took a visit to the BT's lair for status updates on various
bugs and fixes, and left them with a list of newly reported issues. Upon
returning to their office, they encountered some cookie trouble, but at
the end of the day, all was well. At least so they thought...
FONA Weekly! dundun dun dun daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa dun dun dun dun dun dundun daaaaaaaa (wubwubwubwub)
The week has been filled with many trials and hardships throughout the
office. Germany winning the world cup however has created a wave of
peace that rushed through the office at just the right moment. It was a
time for party, in celebration of our distant neighbors over at Fiesta
Online EU's home for winning the world cup. Isis, Blizzard, Grey, Lyra,
Alzena, Sodapoppin, Bottles, Saeko and the rest of the gang were all
celebrating in their own ways. Grey grooming his beard, Isis looking on
the web for a new scratching pole with Blizzard helping her choose one
out. Bottles and Sodapoppin poppin' open some soda bottles. Alzena and
Lyra looking at the latest Forum updates, and last but not least, Saeko
looking at a Pizza delivery menu on the couch. But where were Naerys,
Mena, and Limit?
Suddenly, a bang coming from beneath the office shook the ground, and
everything with it. A bang so loud the deceased could hear it. Rushing
to the source of the bang, the GM team found it coming from the
direction of the BT's testing grounds. On the inside, they were greeted
with the sight of Mena being thrown onto his back, but catching himself
before hitting the ground. Standing opposite to him was Ladius, wielding
a large, wicked black two handed sword. Curious as to what was going
on, Isis approached Naerys, Mayushi, and Limit who were spectating off
to the side, seeking information. They explained that Mena had
challenged Ladius to a rematch over last weeks loss during the testing
of the speed gem. They've been going full force at each other for some
time now, which was quite a devastate show. Each of them watched in
excitement to see who would win this match, but it played out almost as
if they were both equal in strength to one another. Ladius' raw
devastating strength was equal in stature to Mena's way with the power
of Light. Grey, Alzena, and Saeko were taking bets on the sideline, Isis and Blizzard were standing on their toes debating whether or not to get involved to keep the two from severely hurting each other. Lyra, and Naerys were cheering them on. Mayushi hadn't seemed to care too much, and went on with his own business, not paying much attention to the fight.
Mena, who quickly regained his posture from the throw, took a fast
charge at Ladius, engaging with a fury of swings using his own sword,
aided by the power of light. Ladius had managed to avoid the blows with a
combination of dodges, and finished by leaping high into the air, and
with a quick downward swing of his sword from above his head, caused a
devastating shock that crushed the very ground itself, lifting the very
floor around the point of impact in ruins. Mena was capable of avoiding
it before it did him any harm, but the strength and wind generated from
the intensity of the attack blew him back. This however was to his
advantage. Using the destruction from his opponents very swing, Mena
obstructed Ladius' line of sight on him, and began to immediately charge
2 orbs of light in each hand. After only a second, he fired off a large
orb of condensed light towards his opponents location. It ripped
through the shattered earth at an instant, and collided with something
on the other side. That something was soon found out to be Ladius, who
ate the blow entirely, but to his own advantage. Mena, and the audience
who stared at the dusted up Gladiator who's eyes were hidden by the
bangs of his hair, quickly came to realize what was about to happen. Lyra and Naerys cheered in excitement. A
trail of flames began to surround Ladius, being absorbed into him.
Reacting quickly, Mena took to the air in a beam of light, and dropped
down from above his enemy intending to strike before it was too late.
However, it was already too late. Ladius' now visible bloodthirsty eyes
were locked onto Mena. With his hands to his side, Ladius pointed his
face to the sky, and let out a blood thirsty scream strong enough to
create a sound wave that pushed through the entire room. An explosion of
flames surrounding Ladius followed, taking the form of a swirling
vortex of flaming armor. Mena himself, as well as even the audience
suddenly felt the presence deep within, sapping away at their very
strength, as if their own power has been demoralized. With an immediate
change of plans, Mena stopped what he was doing and created distance
from his target, dropping a field of light around him, and awaited his
now enraged opponent to close in on him. And Ladius did exactly what
Mena wanted. With a dash fast enough to disrupt the wind, Ladius was
already at Mena's side, charging a devastating blow. The blow was
interrupted however as Mena jabbed his sword into the ground, and arose
pillars of light from the ground, sending Ladius skyborn. Blizzard and Isis finally decided to step in, but were stopped when Mena's attack had thrown them off of their feet as well. Mena, who's focus was on Ladius, hadn't seemed to notice.
With him interrupted, Mena immediately covered himself in a shroud of
blue aura, and hit Ladius with a fury of strengthened blows. 2 hits had
managed to land before Ladius began to retaliate , evading, and
parrying, and before they knew it they were clashing blades with enough
speed and force to create a shattering sound each time they collided.
The spectators grew tired of the fight however, and Mayushi was in a bit
of shock from the shattered ground of the testing grounds. Deciding
enough was enough, Blizzard for behind Ladius, and Isis behind
Mena, and with a quick knock to the head, knocked them both into a
daze, thus ending their duel. A day later, Ladius and Mena both had to repair the BT Testing Grounds, which was done and finished with after a day or two. Things picked up as they did normally, the GM team going about their business with events, the BT team testing new patches and dealing with bug reports, and the Mod team keeping the forums a safe place for all. It was a happy time for all once again. Until they began eating each others cookies again, that is.
