a Coke there is like 1200 fils / 1.2BD or 2 Euros.


a Coke's usually just 100fils


Water's more expensive than gas here, though they're both cheap. Gasoline's been the same price for 20 years @__@

I talked to a Euro guy in the train-station yesterday.


He complained about Americans complaining about their 'high' gas prices. Didn't want to be rude by pointing out how silly it was to complain about other people complaining, but he had a bit of a point.

Try to find a convenience store like a Carrefour or something if you want something to drink. We found a Carrefour in Tarifa and they sold like these 2 liter bottles of waters for like... 0.67 Euros. Really cheap.

Restaurants seriously rip you off. >(
