Understatement.
Started and finished the series when I was around 12 or 13. Was a block-headed little goober so I didn't really catch any of the supposedly obvious Christian allusion and metaphor in the books. (Yes, not even the Stone-table Aslan scene) But even I could realize that the author was spreading it thick by the
Last Battle.
Liked the Calormene at the end though.
