I'm watching Dirty Jobs Down Under or something like that, and this guy is following this snake exterminator around.

THERE ARE SO MANY SNAKES IN AUSTRALIA. I don't get how you guys live or walk around when there are just so many poisonous snakes that can come bite you in your sleep anytime.

omg LMAO spoken like a true "foreigner"...

I've only ever seen one wild snake in my entire life in Sydney. But that's because I'm not the type of person to go hiking in the bushes on a weekend lol. There's like.. no snakes in the urban areas.

We're lucky we don't live next to the forest, but ou don't have to go very far to be next to a forest with snakes..

I've seen a wild snake once going bush walking, it was sooooo big it was crossing our foot path, we had to wait 10 mins for the snake to pass..
