If it's account names, that's because it's using EA accounts, even for the beta. EA's been around for just a little while :P

there's actually something really confusing concerning that.

i could've sworn i had made an account with ea before but apparently i didn't... or maybe it was just something connected to ea but not the same accounts o_O.

either way, even with something 10 years old the chances of those names being taken are still slim it would appear.
