Well, I like their music personally, their guitar solos are so much better than any other band I've heard. I only hate the drum-work in Maiden. They also don't use synthesisers so all their music is pure guitars and drums. That's why I respect them.
I also listen to Death and Thrash metal like the songs in your profile, but I always prefer Melodic Death Metal. Atleast the music makes sense when the vocals don't. I listen to bands like Children of Bodom, Kalmah, Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy etc.

I have Vultures on my profile specifically because I'd say that's their most epic song yet; It starts slow, then the guitar turns deranged and speedy- slows down in the middle, then Angela's voice goes extremely high pitched and then really low, like it's not even hard to do- then like in their song "Lament of a Mortal Soul" it ends with a musicbox-like tune.
Children of Bodom makes me happy to listen to, as well. <3
None of the bands I listen to use synthesisers. :O |
