blah
procrastinated on writing my CSE homework today
and studying for my 3rd physics "midterm"
to draw this, an extremely rough sketch
(its too big again so only a thumbnail on forums to prevent killing the boards)
eww it looks iffy
I hate just showing plain sketches
some lines are too dark while others are too light
and to get them all to show I have to adjust some stuff but then I run into problems of the paper looking an icky grey or yellow
blah....
It looks eh right now....
need to refix the face and the hand + arms
I'll do it when I take it into Illustrator to draw out the shapes...
Wonder if I can get this full painted with a background by Christmas....
Still have that dragon to finish too, and I haven't even started sketching the 2nd dragon either....
sidenote: eh....I want my 2nd dragon to be black. But the dragon's are going onto a blackish background (kinda an outerspacey background) but more importantly black is such an annoying color to use as a base...you can't really do any shading...if I go lighter it turns into a grey dragon which is a no no, but if I don't go light enough the shading still wont show up....
back on topic, shading muscle tones is a pain...
update on my blue dragon: I've made the stomach plates with the initial shading and placed them onto the dragon but I havent done my 2nd to 4th layers of shading nor the texturing yet....blarghteshet :K
the hair on the spine is a pain to do too
and still deciding if i want claws
