Anime!!

Hey all. So yeah, some of you may remember me, sorry bout that, and anyone else alive... Hey!

Anyway, I'm pretty far removed from the anime scene now, but I'm kind of looking to get back in to it and I remember some of you guys being fans so I just figured I'd post an inquiry here to get some opinions

So what're the need to watch shows from the last 5-10 years? I've recently watched Sword Art Online and I'm in the middle of Attack on Titan; beyond that, I got nothin. I'm maybe sort of interested in trying my hand at another AMV for funsies, but I have no inspiration for that so far.

I'm just shooting in the dark at the moment and looking for something to watch.

I love sword art online!!! actually that was the last anime I've watched too :x

what kind of genre do you like though?

I'm pretty broad in my tastes, but I guess I lean more to the sentai, or shonen style.

wow I thought you said hentai and I was like o_O that's open.

hmm I'm not good with those anime genres. I've been recommended to watch Euraka Seven Psalms of Planets recently and that sounds like something you might like?? I haven't watched it myself though

I've seen Eureka Seven, way back when, and it was pretty OK, nothing that will blow your skirt up though.

I don't recognize any of those other ones, except for Nodame Cantabile. I've been recommended that before, but it doesn't really seem up my alley. Maybe I'll buckle and give it a go. I'll at least Google the others though.

Edit--- also Hentai is whole other thing.... Not totally opposed to it or anything... SHHH when Blaaaah leaves I want reccomendations...

I haven't really watched anime in a long time but Tokyo Ghoul might be alright based on the manga. Some older ones I really like are Samurai Champloo, Darker Than Black (not the second series because that sucked), Claymore and the Mushi-shi series.
