A serious thoughts thread?

I wish to have one.

People like to get really in-depth about certain game issues... and I was wondering if there could be a sub-forum, where you would have sticky threads like "Economy" or "Best way to ____" whatever it may be.

I wouldn't mind sitting in the Econ thread...

I'm not saying make a thread about who's ruining the economy because they feel like collecting money.

I'm saying like...

The fact that they're selling the iron case at $25 is because they've obviously looked at the equilibrium of the supply/demand graph.

If the price of it was $10 and 50 people wanted it, then they would make $500... but if it's $25 and 25 people wanted it... then that would be $625.

Seeing as how that it, once people that have already gotten SparkCash, then they decide to cool down the spending... the flow of money would slow down, meaning they'll have to drop prices on other things to get cash flowing again. Once they get the cash flowing again, they can push the prices back up slowly, or in a large jump, to see what's going to maximize profit based on age/ accessability of funding.

Ok, so it would be about Fiesta and Outspark/CS? That might be interesting... Grounds for future CS outrages. xD

Btw, collecting money is an understatement. In their defense, you might say that, but it's making items unavailiable then setting the prices as high as they want. It's also not allowed to do that... Or so I've heard. If not unallowed, then assanine. ;D
Don't get me wrong, I like 1/3 of the people (the same as you).

Very possible.

I was on one of those a few weeks ago, and there was some "sell us ur gold fr $$$" thing, which is another possibility. (Btw, I wasn't on it to buy anything. I check prices from time to time out of curiousity. It's basically the Fiesta exchange rate. 100s is < $5 now. v.v) I'm not sure which one you're talking about, but one of them has probably a gem or two.

Hmm I think a thread like that can fit into Fiesta General nicely.

Fiesta General is supposed to have threads for serious discussions as well. Having another subforum for that would just imply that Fiesta General can get spammy because there's a "more serious" subforum, which is not supposed to happen.

Fiesta general is for that ^^;; We just don't have serious discussions often. They often turn spammy or into lets-flame-outspark threads.

You can technically pull it off in the main Fiesta General subforum. However, I think your problem will be that people will either lose interest, or will not understand what you're saying.

It's interesting to note how the General Discussions forum is almost always inactive.

Um Booyah, I really don't think that this idea of yours is gonna last long. Just go with threads in General Discussion.
