I hate how many image-editors I have o__.
Paint.Net is great, intuitive and simple, easy to get new plug-ins and filters too, but really hampered by that you can't really use the limited custom-brushes feature effectively. It only paints on one layer at a time, and you can't even see the other layers while doing it, so you have no idea what you're doing until the end.
It lags like hell too, if you have a good amount of brushes.
GIMP just isn't as user-friendly, and it's daunting to get any of the extra plug-ins that could make it really good. The forums are unintuitive and make it difficult to see what could be useful to get and the quality of what you're getting. Resource-hog too.
PhotoFiltre is good for quick touch-ups, filters and simple editing, but lacking a layer feature hurts its usability.
Photoscape is good for simple (and I mean really simple) animation and batch-editing, but that's pretty much it .__.
I'm tempted to get a cracked PS if I could find one that actually worked/didn't have loggers or viruses....
~sitting up from 4AM to Midnight with nothing to do. The wireless Internet flickers on and off, fast and slow sporadically, making playing my Cleric impossible. And the power-grid went down before I managed to save something in Paint....
