All Mage Guild.

I'm thinking of starting an all mage guild. I haven't seen one yet, and I think it would be cool to have wars with a guild full of mages wreaking havoc and creating lag everywhere. I have some name choices but I haven't specified any yet. Who's with me?

Hmm...Personally, I would want my mage to join a guild with varieties. Not only because what you're trying to do sounds very deadly D: (imagine all the +lvl60 mages doing horrific aoe skills everywhere in elderine D but also it might limit the amount of help that might be available for other guild members.

I like guilds that are more focused on friends than classes and levels. And if you're making a guild just to war, I don't think this method would work very well... a couple fighters could take you out.

I knew a mage-only guild in another game. It was called Mastermage or something.

Yeah, I'm just on a fantasy trip right now. I wouldn't war with anyone that much, especially fighters. I've already had run-ins with current guilds and there's too much kiting involved.

That is somewhat true. My current guild warred with another one, and me and another level 61 mage wreaked havoc on some figthers. The key is to debuff them and cause as much damage as possible before they reach you. The clerics backed us up and we sniped them a few times before they actually killed us. Just because someone's a fighter doesn't mean they know how to correctly play with one. In theory though, the classes truly are outmatched; A LOT. You just have to find the stupid guilds with overconfident players that have levels but are awful at PVP lol.

I have 2 say it sounds cool as a lv 73 fighter tho i would hate it XD I cant see myself taking 5 novas from a party of mages and living if u guys get enough members and combine ur aoe's this could be a deadly guild... i might have 2 make a pure SPR fighter XD lol jk

That's kinda my point and I'm glad you pointed that out. Everybody knows that face to face a mage would get murdered by the other classes, but when you get a group of us together with back to back spells you won't be able to pot and stone that fast. By the time the cooldown is over with that much damage, your dead. And the debuff spells and abilities enhance that a bit.

I do admit though, we've bumped heads with a few guilds made up of many fighters and they are nasty in groups. Make sure you catch all of them in the blast radius or you're screwed.
