So excited... with the COMPLETE maps of the game completely changed that effects quests and starting zones and EVERYTHING. So if I were to start a new character and lvl it from 1 to 85 it would be a whole new experiance... really amazing. Though blizzard messed up some of the lore by adding night elf mages.

The story might just evolve. Lore isn't set in stone. Perhaps the Night Elves will begin to dabble in the darker arts in order to face the new threat provided by the expansion...

It really depends on how they write the new lore. Perhaps a group of night elves has been spending too much time around the others in the Alliance and have picked up bad habits. Those mages might even be put down by the other night elves...eh. There's no telling, really.

I used to spend a lot of time in high school playing WC1...the lore certainly has grown and changed since then, LOL. It all depends on how they write it. Right now, it has potential to fit in. We'll see if they realize it.

Yeah, don't forget flying in Azeroth. I played wow pre wrath. I don't think I'll be going back to it again. It was fun, but the people I played with kept me playing more than the idea of reaching the next cap.
