My theory is founded on people that have Anti-Virus' or Virus'. Reason being is xtrap and the game do checks to see if anything has changed in the process, to prevent hacking. Both Virus' and Anti-Virus' may change the file for good or bad purposes ensuring xtrap to give an error.

Fortunately I haven't had a problem with XTrap. If I did I think my laptop would've been in half by now from what I hear from people's experiences. I do hope you get it fixed up soon.

^If T6's suggestion is right... maybe you need to get a different anti-virus program?

I thought xcrap gives ppl problem regarding admin / user group thing as well...

Just turn it off while playing/downloading/installing.

The latest patches... Crazy. It was like 1 hour patching time, then it went to 5 seconds, and kept switching between.

DSL doesn't seem as fast as wireless, but you almost never disconnect... If you're trying for titles, go DSL. ;D

I never thought of the antivirus... I'll turn it off.

Now I'm going to go pester my parents (to the best of my sweet ability) to get Comcast. XD
