Treasure Chest Spawns
99.9% random, eh?
I've found four in the exact same spot.
Well, not exactly the same. Maybe a few meters or so, but still in the same area, and very close on the same grid. Has anyone been through this, or am I the only one?
I think there's maps that has more of a chance for treasure chests to spawn. >___<
Any opinions?

I think someone said the chests spawn within a fixed area. Not sure though. =/

I think that they have a certain spot (within a few degrees) that they drop everytime. I also think that it may be a certain number of days before they spawn again, so that someone else finds it and it makes it seem random.
This is just my opinion that I have thought for a while now but I have no proof to prove it.

Yeah, probably o__o
Has anyone heard that some maps tend to spawn more treasure chests than others? The only one I've heard is the one about MCH.
It's a little TOO much of a coincidence to find four treasure boxes in around the same area x__x

Hey do you guys think that the area where you find it has anything to do with what you get? Meaning if you find one in Forest of Mist it wont be as good as one in Burning Hill?

yep u are right, there are 15 normal and 5 event treasure chests. So its save to assume that treasure chests are different in each region.

Yeah@Zwivix's last Q.
If you get one in SoG, it'll most likely have herbs and B/L Elrue [1].
As far as I could figure, one in MT is very likely to have a pet.
Ones in Uruga/AEW/FoS usually have pet, and usually have a T4 stone. I think Xir NPCs for about 74s.
@MaxOff: Want to list them?

Well yeah there are pre-set spots. But their spawn time is random. And they're all reset when the server goes down and back up.
