^ I think Sheya wants to put a pic on top of another pic. Although what you said can work too.
Sheya, do you have photoshop?
If you do, there's a number of ways you can do this:
Open up a document on Photoshop, and put the picture on a new layer.
You can either:
1. Simply use an eraser tool and rub out everything besides your character (this is the long way if you don't have a tablet).
or
2. Using the Magnetic Lasso Tool, make a selection around your character, then press CTRL + SHIFT + I (Or Select > Inverse), and press Delete to erase everything outside your character's selection.
or
3. Use the magic wand tool and select areas you want to be deleted then delete it like that.
After you erased the backgrounds, you can paste your background picture on a new layer underneath your character picture, and your character will appear on top of the picture.
I only explain it briefly because you might not have Photoshop. But if you do and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
