Need help with computer issues....

Out of the blue, my computer started having problems it never had, and it happened the day my mum decided to clean my room while i was gone *ahem suspicious*

Problems
1. Annoying static sounds from the headphone
2. Annoying static ~ humming from the speakers when volume is turned to mid ~ high
3. If the headphone was plugged in, when it wasn't plugged into the red/green plugs before the computer was turned on, then the computer would hang.

Does anyone have any idea what happened and any solutions to my computer issues?
I unplugged the headphones and the static from speakers were reduced, and only occurs with the volume near to max, which I never put it at, at the very most.

not any that i know of. my phone is placed pretty far away. a room's length to be more precise

Then I have no idea, maybe your mom introduced more dust than she cleaned up.

my friend told me to roll back my sound card and restart my computer, works like charm.

I was going to say it might be an issue with the socket in the back where the speakers were plugged in, but if its fixed I guess not xD

uhhhh now i have another problem.

i reinstalled the driver and the static came back.
however i require the front and back to work together.
rolling back the driver made only the back green jack work.

is there any way for me to get the front jack to work without having to install that crappy driver that is making all the static?
