Well, you could, if you have the points. The problem is, the enemies will be in your face by this time, and if your AOE'ing (which you should be by this point) your need faster magic spells that effect more than one enemy at a time. No argument with max damage on Fire Ball, the spell is bananas. But spamming keeps you alive in between blasts. I guess it really depends on the play style, point taken. Just remember to take the points off of Fire Bolt (cooldown not damage if you want two nasty fire spells take your pick) when you cop this spell. I guess I'm trying to do the most damage area wise than one enemy.

maxing CD is a definite PvP option.

not even good for pvp... only reduce cooldowns u want for pvp is on fear and chain cast.

you and i are not at the same point in-game, i have a few more points to play with. again, i didn't do this empowerement, but i can see how someone would choose empowering CD on Fireball over say Stifle CD/Duration. i didn't do it, but i wouldn't call someone retarded for doing so. i used to have +5dmg to Nova, but took that out.

again, here's where i'm at:

My empowerments @ 89

Magic Blast - Damage (5pts) & CD (5pts) This skill is now spammable with full CD 4.0secs - 2.8secs (1.0 sec cast time) the Wiki needs correcting

Fire Ball - Damage (5pts)

Frost Nova - CD (5pts)

Inferno - CD (5pts)

Chain Cast - CD (5pts)

Drain Mind (Fear) - CD (5pts) & Duration (5pts)

Stifle - CD (4pts)

Don't believe I used the word retarded, and I agree with yours other then I would put cd on nova and wouldnt empower magic blast at all ^^ I dont use it that much O_O

yeah i know u didn't another person used that word several posts above.

when u start grinding kidmons and jeweltrees, u'll see the value in empowering magic blast cd/damage. these helped tremendously as the two mobs are ranged mobs, and like all other Burning Rock enemies, incredibly stupid and difficult to collect into an AOE. Kidmons also heal themselves and others so killing them one by one is usually a good idea if you're soloing or duoing. if you're fighting two kidmons at once, u'll be a while as they heal eachother ><
