I have strict rules and regulations for my children to follow. It is my house my rules. I don't consider that sheltering or overbearing, I think of it as a lesson in the real world.

Everyday I go to work and guess what, my employer has rules and regulations that I must follow.

xD Meh everyone just says I live a sheltered life though I made my parents give me a curfew for when I go out at nightson dates or with friends. /weird/

xD Im.. just a homebody who hates crowds and I go by the rules my parents set usually. (Can't say always)

About 8/10 people I know and have known would say I live a sheltered life :3 which if thats what it is I'm happy with it.

xD Meh, I dont look into that stuff. So I wouldnt understand it. I'd like to understand it more but I never plan on doing anything like that xP

I'm happy my parents are understanding about my decisions...
as long as I'm passing school and respect their rules .. they let me do what I want. All they ever ask for is a phone call to make sure I'm safe ... huzzah.

i believe a couple of the problems stated were people on the bus smelling like it, people smoking it outside schools and the places where this was going on being so close to a school that they oculd smell it there. in these cases they can't just "gtfo" and they really don't need to "stfu". you are being way too defensive on this issue when it doesn't call for it. it seems like every time someone posts against it you have to make a comment where it seems like you just really want to flame.

you say people are ust too closed minded and/or uninformed to understand. yes, you tried to present information and change their minds but if people don't want to listen then let them be, let them say what they want, there's no need to start an argument here. if you need to just ignore them or even block them if you must.
