Tournament being hosted in 16days! 1million dollar for the winner G__G. That's a huge prize pool. I was never into competitive dota but I'll definitely be watching this. Sooooo excited.

Hopefully it ends up being F2P. Worked for LoL, HoN is F2P now(probably because worked so well for LoL).

How does LoL make their money? Can you buy cash items?

You buy skins (outfits).

You can buy other stuff too but skins is the only thing you have to purchase if you want it. Other stuff can be bought with in-game cash.

You buy RP which can be used to buy skins, champions, xp/ip boost, etc. They don't sell power so having rp wont be giving you an advantage over someone who does.
