Okay so, I had the same problem as you when I first started my cleric. (I didn't even know what a skill point was back then too ._.).
So we all know that putting 5 points in cd for
HEAL is a must. Putting 5 in power is also very helpful.
As a cleric I never really attacked (Full support, but I love to pvp
. ) but you can put points into your attack skills too.
I put 10 points in
REJUV (The big healing skill.) 5 in power and 5 in cd. It helps a lot in LN when my heal is in cd.
You really don't have to use any points on
invigorate, but since I use that skill a lot I just put a few points in power and cd.
TIP: SP consumption might help you, you don't have to use it though.
Don't put any points in the buff skills whatsoever. It does not help anything or anyone.
