And original clerics who plays new classes will be great at anything because I'm biased like that. Jk.
Actually, many end up as DPS fighters They will find that apart from being able to do no less damage with a glowing sun-on-a-stick, they now have a much larger HP reservoir, and take much, much less damage, and would happily run into crowds of monsters and start spamming skills... I've observed that these fighters do taunt monsters that hit their party members away, and stay alive pretty well, but there are still flaws, mainly to do with crowd control.

Clerics players who are too used to being able to heal makes a funny party member They keep thinking they can heal you and sometimes neglect to help you, especially in clericless situations.

When you get too used to playing one class, it sticks... I keep pressing the key for Magic Burst on my fighter when monsters go for my cleric

I so can relate. Sometimes I pressed the hotkeys that I assigned to my fighter while playing my cleric.

I only play on my archer and cleric. Archer being my main.

But, when I'm on my archer I'm on my archer. When I'm on my cleric, I'm on my cleric. I never mix up the skills or anything o-o

I find being a cleric easy. D: I was an FS in Flyff(Which could be easier at some times and harder at others >.>) and nothing else. But, I started Fiesta as an archer and got used to the class, but knew I could switch over to being a cleric at any time since I knew what to do as one o.o'

Soo yeah. I don't mix things up...

I'm kind of the same mind set as A_Forever on this. I have a low level noob cleric that I don't play much but when I am I know my job is support. Heal...heal...heal..and then after that heal some more.

I think that many clerics have seen or heard some great stories about some really good clanks and they want to be one.

Those good clanks also knew how to heal. I remember being in a mara kq way back when and we had this awesome clank. but he also was healing the fighters who were dealing damage.

but i think it's just a mixture of a lot of variables. Some people want to play clerics cause then they can heal themselves and not use pots or stones, but want to act like a DD.

It's just a thing about people doing their job. Some people know and understand and some people don't. The bad thing as a game gets more popular you get more people who don't.

Hotkeying between different characters has never been a big deal for me because I always keep the priority of my hotkeys the same for all the characters. #3, for whatever reason, is the skill I want closest on both my archer and cleric.

But I will get confused about what I'm supposed to do sometime. Sometimes I will get too caught up in fighting that I forget to heal. >_<

I don't know quite what the true horrors of Robo are, but I've done Gold Hill and Mara... 'Nuff said... I think the only successful Mara I've ever done was the one with some FF members in my party.

Any level cleric really. D: But I'm talking about a 7x or something that I run into in Eld or whatever, they buff one of their guildies/friends right in front of me and I say, "May I have buffs please? :3" and they just stand there like they are afk. So, I start to move away(slowly >_>) and they run in the other direction. How rude Dx I didn't come up to you and be like, "BAFF PLZZZZZ!!!!!11!"(Then spam it)

But yeahh. I don't know whats going on. :x When I could still do mara on my cleric, I was seriously the only cleric they could depend on if I wasn't doing it with friends/guildies. I still say that the being able to level so fast has something to do with it..
That is really rude. D: It was the same way for me getting a buff for the job change and before the Mara KQ I did with some FF people.

On the Cleric issue... I have noticed that there IS a large trend of very self-centered PEOPLE (cleric or not) in the game lately. As a player (and as a Cleric more specifically) I have always made it a point to be as helpful to my party, friends, guild as possible in any occasion. I won't quibble over greens and items etc...just because it's not worth it. However, if I notice I'm partied with a self-centered person who is not helping (and normally hindering) the party I normally quit the pty. It's funny how when I started the game I rarely ever used 'block' except on gold selling spammers. My 'block' function is getting a bit of a workout lately....

You suck at StarCraft, okay. The only instance where I let you die is when you pulled 15 Orcs. Then I ran. Because there was no BoT back then.

Damn straight we are. 1+1=2

Failure. You only play two classes too.

My Magic Burst key happens to also be my Invincible, my Nature's Mist, and my Vitality key, yet I have yet to make a mistake.

It's because I'm cool like that.

I knew you'd jump at my comments smartass. I could not possibly have pulled 15 Orcs in Uruga. Where can I do that? All Triumph did was Trip, Bash, Rejuv, and run. Why didn't you max cooldown until after I ditched you? I had 3 Orcs and 2 Pinkies from the spawn next to the hill, and you ran because one of the Pinkies hit you... and you couldn't heal fast enough. You are an exception to the Original Cleric postulate, since you were smartass enough to go on an offensive build and neglect heals.

I play all 4 classes fyi. You've never seen my archer.

I will stop short at bad-mouthing your alter-ego for fear of revealing their identity.
