Feedback on the tournaments

Recently, i played in a tournament, in which during my first game i scored 284 points. My opponent played 2 games and had a best score of 74, so i thought that i should wait for him to play his last game to see if there would be any significant improvements, but i waited for some time (and also was away for some time as i was busy), and i just recieved a PM saying that i had been disqualified. 1 thing i dont get though, is that why would I be disqualified if i did play one round, and that one round was enough to win my opponent? i think that since the tournament takes the best of 3 it shouldnt matter if a person needs only one game to win...

wanna past the link of which tourney u're talking about so the mods can look at it?

That is not supposed to happen. So many bugged tournaments. @.@" We have notified the admin, hopefully he can work out something and fix it up. D:
