What is the perfect Tanker?

Just wondering ?
What would be the perfect Tanker stats?

I was thinking maybe:
- 25 SPR
- 50 END
- Rest STR

?? Could that work.

Build is unimportant - the best tankers I have found are the ones that combine the proper weapons (1 hand and shield) with an understanding of what they are trying to accomplish, while not pissing off their support party members by running off to attack everything in their path just because they are the tank. Of course, being heavily CS'd can make up for a lot of stupidity.....

It's not so much the build but your skill as a tanker.

The build stated by the OP is pretty standard. After 50 pts in END it's just like the 25 SPR, the bonus is negligible. Unless you know you'll always have a leveling partner a full END build will level rather slowly. So best to invest in STR after 50 points and by then you'll appreciate the extra damage even if you are forced to solo.

Of course, always carry 1h+shield and an axe.

Half-assed DEX is pointless and spreading your stats out is inefficient. If you find your aim to be crap then find DEX gear and use aim scrolls.

After that you need to learn to tab through mobs and use Snearing Kick. Once you get Deva then you can alternate. As a tanker your job is keeping aggro, not damage. That's what the Mages and Archers are for.

My 7x tankers build seems to work great for me. Im 10 spr/rest end with High END items. The spr gave me a little bonus to my crit and just enough magic def to not get 1 hit k0ed in MD by his AOE. It is mostly all up to what you feel is working.
