The importance of leveling up Decomposition early

I just realised how important it is to level decomposition early in the game, because:

1. When u save up tier 2 materials while leveling decomposition at the same time, ur inventory gets too full.



2. mass production was so boring that i posted this

I know, I finally got old gem dust decomposition and am doing so... the problem is that spirit dust requires 300 skill, thats not a problem to get since i can compose and decompose copper ores, and also i wont be filling my inventory. but after that, the composition/decompositions differ slightly. the thing is, i had to get 500 skill to decompose gem dust, which meant that

from 300-400 (so i can decomp soul dust), i decomposed 100 spirit dusts, each giving me 15. 15*100/50=30 spaces

from 400-500, decomped soul dust and some crystals, 100 each gave me 19, 19*100/50= 48 spaces.

and it takes up more and more space... while it isnt really that much a problem as i have 4 characters on 1 account, i should have known better and started early.. i did all this in 1 day lol, which is why i am so bored and hence random as i had a lot of waiting to do and transfering items between characters

lol! Oh, I know how that is. I ended up making a mule account because mule characters were just not cutting it. Now if I want something - I have to ask a friend for help. Which works out fine.

i find comp/decomp common mushrooms to be quite a good thing to use to level the skill

on the other hand.. u might be able to get a merchant title sellign those keke

Yeah... decomp is great but you'd wish you had another bad to fill up.

I've gotten the merchant titles doing it too. If you don't really care for the items produced during decomp you can get all the items necessary first... then go up to a NPC and open up the window. Sell the items while decomping so you don't take up room. :3

yeah true LOL my comp and decomp are on two characters so i hv to transfer them through storage... and OMG.. its a nightmare trying to make room in storage~

^ I agree. I have comp and decomp on separate characters too! But I'm just going to do decomp... much easier to do. :3

Thanks Hessah and Loveless for the suggestion on getting merchant titles, I'll go try it when i can play... but my main character is not my decomposition character though so i may have to transfer the items... just wondering can I sell a few thousand items to NPC, go to bank and withdraw the remaining items, then go back to NPC? or does it have to be sell 5k items without closing the NPC window?

Yes, I believe that you can go to bank and get some more according to Hessah. Just make sure to sell them 1 by 1.
