I have a merge tool but thats because Im a mod. But I think it would be a good idea.

Are you sure? GO into edit then look at the bottom right is there a delete post option down there?

Not sure when I see that someone has deleted a post I delete it again so it doesnt make the forum look bad.

I don't think you can delete the first post.
