Well, It Happened

Now, I know there are a lot of people who live with this all the time. However, in all of my 31 years, it has actually snowed more than 1/4 of an inch maybe 3 times. I am not out there playing in it. But, meh - it was pretty. I just need it to be gone by tomorrow morning.

But, here is what I woke up to.

Gonna try to get my dogs out in it now. And get some pictures of them. They have never seen snow.

I live in the middle of nowhere. Surrounded by pastures - literally. My dogs are currently curled up under some blankets that just came out of the dryer. I think I shall let them enjoy those for a while, lol. It is still coming down really hard out there.

We're getting a good amount here in Massachussetts too.

Yeah, we got it too (of course, that's to be expected since we live just a few miles apart - lol):

So many shades of GRAY!

(EDIT: picture comparison makes me even more sad that my camera like Spirit's quit working & my replacement is apparently sub-par.)

times that by 7538975 u got what weve had this winter LOL, and we dont usually see alot of snow.

Its pretty and nice for the first day or two. Then
once its wet and melting everywhere and flooding the streets
and becomes slush its just plain annoying.

It is already melting and almost completely gone now.

And yeah, we normally get Zero snow. So, when it does snow, it is a big deal.

My son absolutely loved it.

Yeah must be super exciting for the children where you live.

It snowed for us a few days ago too.
But its normal for us.
During the really cold winters, when the house is cold, my dog would stay in the bathroom right next to the air vent.
