Attack Speed

Hey Guys,

I wanted to make a fighter that can attack fast. Is that possible?
And if it is possible, what stat do I need to raise?

The only thing that can alter your attack speed is the weapon you use. In the order from fastest to slowest weapons: 1H sword (usually equipped with shield) > 2H sword > axe.

However.. damage also decreases with higher attack rate (i.e. from highest to lowest damage is axe > 2H sword > 1H sword).

1H sword is usually used by tankers as they can equip shields, while axes are used by those that deals blows of damage (though most fighters carry both 1H and axe in case they need to tank in certain situations).

In other words.. you can't alter attack speed using stat points or skill points. Though I can't recall if a fighter has a buff that increases attack speed. If they do, but it'll only be a short lasting buff, not something permanent.

To increase attack speed, I would suggest you spam skills LOL. xD

Since skills ignore weapon speed, you can use even the slowest weapon (axe), spam skills, and still achieve the same attack speed as a 1h (fastest fighter weapon) spamming skills.

Otherwise, there's no way to increase weapon attack speeds. ^^;

Don't forget that lvl 100 Gladiator gets a skill called vilonce (self buff) which lowers attack speed, so he can be a Dmg Dealer and become a gladiator at lvl 100.
