It doesn't matter what build you have, good gear really counts in all cases.

I've never bought any gear, and even though I had the money for it (at my level anyways o: ) I didn't buy anything so I was pretty weak.

You'll be surprised at how much difference STR makes then. If you're not DEX, and you're an xbow user without too much DEX gear, single-target poisons miss a lot (thank god for DEX gear >w<)

Which is why I said supplement your 3rd needed stat with armor and rings.

equiptment wont get the crit bonus that you get for adding points to SPR yourself though will it? 25SPR has been worth it in every char ive played.

Well, if you want crit that's cool xD Me too, I always love 25 SPR.

But think, if you go 25 STR/INT, that's 25 more damage to every shot. That's your next 25 level's worth of stats o-o

Only good thing I got is MD 5 stat -_-

Perfect MD earrings + 2 Shining Elderine Rings + 25 SPR rest STR build + DEX END heavy gear + godly weapon [+9] = PWN

And walnut, only Free Stat SPR adds to Critical rate... Gear SPR don't~

I, for one, does not like END gear XD
I value power > def. So, I don't like looking like I have a lot of HP and then be a wimp LMAO.

Power is what I'm going for too by level 70. My gears from 64~68 add a total of 80 STR, and I don't have a top and weapon yet. I still don't think that's enough thou =\ anyone would like to add?

STR from gears doesn't add much o: Omie said it added only like 1 STR point for 11 points ... XD

So I'm going for DEX/SPR instead, maybe with a bit of END o:

I had a pretty good gear set for 4x, and I want nice gear for the 6x set XD I've already given up on my 5x set, LOL.

But really, gear DOES make a darn lot of difference. I was talking to people in PvP zones, and met a lvl 56 with a huge amount of HP and a +9 xbow XD Not to mention I've also met a lvl 40 with 2k HP completely unbuffed with a +9 bow o:
So yeah, it makes difference LOL.
