[Problem] Editing posts in the Marketplace

Sorry if this is in the inappropriate section, I wasn't sure where to put it. I can't seem to edit any posts I make in the Marketplace. Does anyone else experience this? If so, I'll edit this post into a site suggestion. Not being able to edit your posts in the Marketplace seems ludicrous, considering how things change so often in there (or will, anyway).

I think it has something to do with preventing scams. I'm not quite sure how but thats the reason I heard.

Yeah, I actually don't see how editing a post can prevent a scam.. how do you scam someone from editing a post? You mean if someone says they're buying something for 30 silver, then someone sells it to them but the buyer gives them 30 copper (and the seller not noticing >_>), and the buyer goes changing the post to 30 coppers?

There is a message saying when someone has edited their post, so it's kind of hard to actually scam someone that way without leaving proof, right?

well the scam could work these way:
he changes the 30 silver to 30copper and add the line "Edit: Item Sold."

these way most people will think the only change was the Edit line. Becouse the forum doenst save different versions of post, there is no way to proove he also changed silver to copper

However, how does this person scam someone in-game?

it doenst prevent scamming at all.
i just wanted to give a example how someone
could manipulate a trade message with the edit function without noticing.

I think deactivating the edit button was a wise choise.
