Vendor zone concept

Was posting in another thread how it bugs me sometimes when I'm setting up a vendor and someone buffs me in passing. As buffs are sometimes scarce when I want them it makes me wonder weather to cancell the vendor tho save the buff. That got me thinking about an idea that might help cut the vendor clutter and lag problems in some towns better than Roumen's marketplace:

Create a special zone where all buffs and scroll timers are frozen. Something about the size of the OX quiz zone should do. Such a zone with an entrance near the bank in Uruga for example, would probably reduce a lot of the town's lag. Vendors and shoppers alike would like the fact that their buffs remain the same till they leave.

Any other ideas for such a zone? Like other incentives to convince vendors to set their shops up there? Perhaps placing a banker for convienece right in the zone might be a good idea.

Maybe if enough people start "talking" about an idea like this we might see it in a future patch someday. (^_^)

the only problem that OS would see is the fact that people who had t4 scrolls/buffs on or something...and like save their time on them, thus the sales of scrolls going down? x.x also a hideout for guild wars... i think... cuz you wouldnt be able to attack in such an area?

and wasnt there some talk about an auction house of somesort?

Buff, scrolls and debuff time should be completely frozen while in vendor I never understood why it didn't to begin with. Finding someone to buff is so easy now usually I rely on my partner who is a Lv 90 cleric but even when she isn't online I can quite easily find a cleric buffing. Almost always there is a cleric buffing at Shutain in Elderine or you can usually find them at storage in Elderine or Uruga. As long as you ask nicely I've never had a problem where I could not get a buff.

Silent Wizard will become famous soon enough
A vending zone, unless it were very large would create a new kind of spot claiming.

In my pre buff days I felt the pressure to take best advantage of buffs when I had them so i understand where ur coming from. Even now lol when i want to do some farming and someone else is there or shows up i will lay a buff on them in the hope that they will then have something better to do.

Holding your buffs while you are in vend (and in town) would be nice. You could stay in vend until your pt is organized and everyone is ready or your waiting for a kq to start. It might reduce somewhat, cleric buff requests, A shopping zone with buff holds...idk
