Is Blu Ray noticeable?

How good is Blu Ray quality? Is it better than 1080p on YT lolz? Deciding whether I want to fork out 30 bucks for Adventure Time.

On cartoons it's minuscule. For real life productions is greatly noticeable

I think Blu-Ray pretty much is 1080p quality. So unless you're viewing it on a better screen than the one on which you view YT videos, I doubt it'll make a difference.
