Archers

Are archers good i have read many forums saying that archers have been getting left in the dust by the other classes. I would like to start an archer but dont now if it would be in my best intrests to start an archer.

I assume you're playing on Outspark server?

In my opinion, archers are the best solo class..

They have the best kiting skills.. which means you can run and attack at the same time, so you receive less dmg.

In comparison to mage, they do less dmg, but mage must stand still to cast AOE, so they often need a cleric, or risk dying fairly easily..

They may be slow to start (as with many other classes) but they bloom from lvl 51+... They're not that great for PVP though, but PVE wise, I'm having a lot of fun on my archer~

My favorite class is cleric - mine is L93 atm, but I have been taking a break from having to grind almost the entire level at 93 to level my archer. I have been really enjoying it, as long as the quests have good places to kite. Some places are built for it, like any of the archon junior quests, but some kiting areas have been killed by Outspark, such as the King Mushroom road outside of Uruga. Mini Dragon Kingdom quest is made better by being able to kite. Overall, there are drawbacks, but I'm loving my archer right now.

I totally love the hability of kitting with my archer, once you hit lvl 51, and master the skill (means getting used to kite). You'll level smoothly and having huge fun.
But, I'm a PVE player mostly, so I don't care much about PvP where archers are a lil weak, tho.

My advice, you gotta chose the class you best fit in, the one that has the natural playing style you normally or you would like to do.
