Firefox never crashed on me.
I tried Google Chrome.
I had a couple of issues with the way it's doing things atm:
- It adds an updater to your Startup list -> Windows starts more slowly. o.O
- Its program folder is not where you expect it to be: totally stealthed and well hidden in Documents and Settings\[your username]\Local Settings. I mean... it's just a browser, right?
- Its EULA (bet you never read it): initially, it stated that all information transmitted through Chrome will be property of Google
. Later it has been modified to something, which I can't remember now. lol
- lack of devs base: fortunately, though, Google has begun inviting developers to work on add-ons for Chrome.
- it's beta but Google's beta tends to have quality of a final release. Look at Gmail. lol
I might change my opinion and use it later but for now, it's definitely not an alternative to the established browsers out there.
