its not like theyre selling the game in stores, theyre putting the collectors pack, its purpose is for the bonuses, since everyone getting it would have already installed the game for free online

It's the emerging model btw. With the advent of widespread internet availability and increased bandwidth, there's no longer any need for as much ardent testing/completion.

An example would be to compare games on the PSOne with those on the PS3/XBox. PSOne games ship as they are, heaven help you if there's a fatal flaw that got through testing. Software nowadays can just be patched if need be (as they usually are). I'm speaking of "betas" in general btw, LoL is a different case.
