The answer is: It's a really obscure number, you've probably never heard of it...

Which is what happens when you get a few indie/hipster rock fans together and get them talking about music. "You mean you've never heard of the Monkey Nipples? They're amazing..." "Psh, the Monkey Nipples are so last week. The best sound right now are the Sandwich Rapists..." etc, etc.

The answer means that the resultant answer to the question/joke is probably obscure, and known only to a very small minority.

A: (Translated) Some obscure answer, that you've never heard of.

I dunno if there's any other way to explain. Think of it as "Indie-Rock kids rattle off random, obscure things that you've never heard of."

I am in the middle of writing a research paper, so I might not be too coherent.
