^ I don't know if that's a bad thing really. It's not an officially recommended thing or anything. Just IMO word docs and music don't take much time to open anyway so I would be overly stingy about using my SSD for stuff like that haha.

Hmm I've got the Windows 8.1 Pro on a desktop..

I see some functions like showing app store in task bar and having a power button on Metro screen as a new feature of Windows 8.1 but I don't have those options...

Are those functions only for tablet / laptops? I've checked for updates and I don't think I've got more Windows update to install..

Yup nice and fast.. finally don't have to wait 15 mins for the computer to boot HAHAHA and it's so quiet...

But I think this new windows is a little buggy... I'm copy files between drives and several times in the middle of it it says the drive is offline or unavailable... =/

Still getting use to the whole Windows 8 thing... but slowly getting there... there's just some nifty windows 8.1 options that I don't seem to have and can't figure out why..
