All I can say is that Archers can both Tank and be a DD. And that's probably the best reason why Archer+Cleric makes an excellent pair. Archers can also take aggro by AoE attacks, and also use NP to lure the mobs to another player
And I agree about the Evasion thing... My Evasion at level 49 is 410 but I still think it's not enough
