I think I would have to disagree. I can't ever remember anybody tell a cleric to stop healing them or please don't give me a buff. For me as a fighter those 'overpowered clerics' are my best friends.

disagree i thought the same about clerics myself, and made one turns out they kill really slow... but conserve alot of pots thats about it... but in the long run everyone has to party to level anyways

Depends on how u look at it. Some clerics add lots to str so they deal mighty dmg. Others add lots to END and just won't die. xD Shall not comment on those who add everything to SPR.
